my holidays

CNY has come and gone. I've been out and about in the north the whole last week. On cny day 1 took a plane up to alor setar. i took the klia express form kl sentral..it was reli quick n efficient!! the flight was on time n smooth..i took mas and it is way different frm air asia. at air asia u feel like u r being HUSTLED n PACKED like sardines on the flight. went to bf's hometown, met his dad n his relatives..not that scary as i thought. got a big angpau frm his dad too..(fyi my bf mom passed away few years ago..) cny day 2 went visiting some more bf's relatives n have to drive for like an hour to reach this place called merbok..another angpau scoring session for me..nuthing much on that day just drove around sungai petani n jitra.. cny day 3packed up n drove to kuala kedah. boarded a ferry to LANGKAWI!! reach there was in state of relief when i saw STARBUCKS!!!imagine no caffeine for a couple days just had to stop by there to grab a cuppa.. rented a scooter. my bf n i hopped on n ride all the way to awana porto malai..the room was gorgeous cuz we took this romatic package so they gave a junior suite...had dinner at these restaurant named SHEELA'S..the food there was scrumptious. i had the snapper n my bf ordered the cordon bleu chicken..reli memorable dinner.then off to the infamous eagle statue.. cny day 4went ot underwater world n got to see the penguins like the ones in happy feet. there r 2 types of penguins they had there..the alaskan type n the rockhopper type. if u saw happy feet u wud notice that the characted ramon n lovelace has yellow crest ion their head n r the wilder more spontaneous type. in reality i think they r.. the rockhopper species literally stood in the middle n pose for us..they were actively swimming n standing still in the middle just waiting for u to take their pics..very cute. after that we went o makam mahsuri n read bout her tragic story..then off to the spa(included in the package) for a body massage n scrub..reli relaxing. later that evening had a 3 couse dinner in the hotel by the port..oh yeah forgot to informed since langkawi is a duty free island the booze was so friggin cheap. i bought absolut vodka for RM 45 only n JD for 55!! i never felt so cheated buying booze back here in kl..choc r so cheap too..since i seldom find choc liquer s i bought irish cream choc,choc with truffles n many more..fruit flavoured liquor sels for onli RM 3.50 per bottle compared to RM 7.50 sold in KL.. and for those smokers out there i think u smoke to death in this island..RM 3 for a pck of ciggarettes.. cny day 5 packed up n boarded the 1.30 pm ferry that leaves at 2.30 pm..waited a whole hour in the boat..luckily i took the pills to keep me form vomiting..reached kuala kedah bout 4 n drove back to kl.. so tht pretty much was my holiday..fun n kinda tiring too.. here r the pics some cows i saw beside the highway in jitra..moo~ at the dock..my new shades i bought from vincci~ at the infamous eagle~ the next top penguin model~ me n my my kampung boy boyfren*hearts* my first time handling air perigi ~ a memorable trip~
