There you go the pics of Penang. I didn't took as much photos that I would like cause not nice using a digital camera as oppose to a nikon d40. Anyways here the breakdown of the trip.
- First day we arrived at the bus station and after we checked in we went to lunch at some koiptiam then proceeded to the snake temple which converted to a mini snake exhibition which was fun cause you get to take pictures with the large phython. next we went back to the hotel cause Sherlyn wasn't feeling well. There me and the boys played some card game which the punishment is pillow bashing. Was fun and poor Jie Hu the clown was the ultimate victim. We went to dinner later at Gurney. Food there was so so but once you at Penang you have to come to Gurney right?
- Second day we went to Kek Lok Si temple. Jie hu borught us to the upper part of the temple which is still under construction. took a couple of pics there and just enjoying the view. Next we took the tortoise tramp up the hill. Packed and so slow but once up there it was like Fraser's hill. We wanted to go to the canopy walk which was a 1.6km hike up the hill. Tiring but it was worth it once you walk through the canopy walk. Seet was hyperactive, not scared at all and keep jumping causing the canopy to sway. Didn't know he was that crazy cause in class he is like super serious all the time. After that we while walking down it was raining so we all went under a shelterwith a an australian couple. Caht a lil while looking to fantastic view of Penang. It was nice and peaceful listening to the raindrops and soaking the God's creation..after a dreadful ride down the tortoise tramp we went back to the hotel and proceeded to batu Feringhi. Jie hu said there is this beach where there is minimal humans visiting and that he usually goes there for some peace and quiet. It was beautiful beside the rocks and you can also see a colony of crabs too. We all were just sitting there relaxing and waves crushing the rocks and also waiting for the sunset. It was just beautiful and my most favourite part of the trip cause I love beaches..Next we went to a western dinner at a house converted to restaurant at night. It was cheap for a western dinner and sometimes when I order some food at Penang i also forgot how cheap it was. RM 2 for bowl of mee...where la you gonna get in KL??
- Day 3 we packed up and proceeded for an ealy checkout cause the bus was at 12 pm. Before that we went Him Heang co. to buy some tambun Pneah for our families and also some buah pala etc..Next we just drop by botanical garden and took some pics also.So that's it la the penang trip. would love to go out again with my collegemates...Here are the pics in random order
