customers
I’m inclined to writing more on the people I meet everyday. Since I’ve been working for almost a year there are many kinds of people I meet everyday. Some interesting, some just plain idiotic, and some are just jerks. Let me give you a scenario which I encountered few days ago. Let’s name him Chan (not the real name). He comes almost very morning ordering a sugared doughnut without sugar. Duh.. named SUGARED already of cause got sugar la.How about he order nasi goreng without nasi??? …Bak to the story ,of cause we answered no we don’t have just the doughnut. Apparently everytime he comes in it will be the same question asked to the same person. So he proceeds in ordering it. He will then order his usual drinks and then came in his colleague who then orders again the same drink. At first we didn’t know they were together so key in twice la. When paying that time they will ask for their discounts (some company staff entitled 20%) and kiasu type wanna use voucher la, gift certificate la. I have to cancel the bill twice and do a manual refund because of their kiasuness and indecisive manner. I heard it is always the same scenario every time they come. They talk on what they wanna order in front of the counter when people are waitng and asking lots of dumb questions. Like why the cd we selling here same as in borders. I presume is Starbucks borders la. Of cause la the same. Duh..same franchise what?? Better he go mcdonalds and ask “ Eh..why u sell the double cheese burger same like the one I saw in Sungei Wang?” It’s very funny when meet this kind of people. Office people who apparently are educated but funny things that come of their speech and conversation. I’m not trying to be a judge here but why do have to act like you’re the boss. I know you are a consumer but be a polite and courteous one. Yes there are many customers that I meet that really gives a the pleasure in putting the extra effort in serving them ( and I mean NOT only handsome guys). Advice to you folks out there .Treat people on how you want them to treat you. We are humans too. Be a polite and friendly to the people who you pay to serve and you get that little extra service without having to pay extra tips. Signing off~
